In this two and a half hour workshop, we will explore local, seasonal color through plants. We will work with locally grown materials to create pigment and grind it into watercolor paint. Together we will process the dye materials, transform the dye into pigment, create paint, and document the results. Participants will take home a set of watercolor paints, recipes and process notes, and the skills to recreate the process on their own.
