The title Landing comes from The Grammar of Animacy, an essay in Robin Wall Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass. She writes about the language we use to describe the land and other living things. When we objectify the living world with our words it naturally impacts how we relate to “it” in our actions. So landing has a couple meanings to me, it’s about the land as an active, ongoing process. And also landing as in arriving, situating.
They are $1400 each and come framed with UV Protective acrylic and the hardware for hanging.
