In this three hour workshop, we will explore local, seasonal color through plants. We will work with locally grown materials to create dye for cotton, linen, and silk fabric and churro wool yarn. Together we will process the dye materials, dye several samples of fabric and yarn, and document the results. Participants will take home a colorful swatch book, recipes and process notes, and the skills to recreate the process on their own.
