The red poppy (Papaver rhoeas), an iconic wildflower, is a symbol of peace and resilience. It is also a source of medicine for humans and nourishment for countless pollinators.

This archival print is reproduced from my original textile work, created entirely by hand with cloth dyed from natural materials including cochineal, madder root, chamisa, and indigo. The texture, dimensionality, and subtle color variations of the dye come through in the print, bringing the warmth and depth of fiber art into print form.
